Will versus the Pigeon
On Friday, we decided to go to the Long Beach Aquarium. It was a fun filled day with our friends, thanks for the invite, Jenny, Jack, and Liam!! After chasing both kids in opposite directions (the joys of two toddlers who walk), I put will in his buggy car to enjoy a cracker. As I was helping Kate pet the stingrays, I heard a piercing SCREAM, and as I turn around this is what I see...thanks Jenny for always having your camera to capture the perfect shot! Poor little guy, but the funny thing is that Liam, Jenny's son, ran over to scare the bird away the second this picture was snapped, and Will just started laughing hysterically...I think he will forever be afraid of birds though, and I do not blame him!

Teething...
Nothing is worse then seeing your baby try to cut teeth. They are simply miserable and have a right to be. Well, little William has been working on some teeth for about a month now, and they just broke through last week. In one week time he DOUBLED the amount of teeth in his mouth! The poor kid just cut 6 teeth. I thought he was getting four then he gave me a big open mouth smile today, and I saw his bottom molars as well. Two more bottom teeth, and 4 molars, all at the same time! He is such a trooper though. Besides being a little cranky, and having trouble sleeping at night he is his normal happy self. Such a trooper!

Santa!
We were lucky enough to go to the North Pole and meet Santa at his house this weekend. The kiddos had a blast. We were first in line after Santa went to his workshop to feed his raindeer. Santa was so nice that Kate loved talking to him and even sitting on his lap. Far "cry" from last year! It is amazing what a difference a year makes, and having two kiddos one year apart and having these events to compare their personality and look is FUN! Take a look back on the past year...Kate is just a tad scared of Santa.

Bye, Bye Binky!
OK, so we finally did it! We have decided to detach our children from the binkey! Yes, I said we have decided to go cold turkey. Any bets on how long it will be before we, or should I say, I give in??? Kate has developed a skin reaction on her lip, so we went with that. We are on day two and so far so good! She even was able to go to bed with out too much fuss last night and only woke up once...I pray that continues, cuz we need what little sleep we get as parents. Don't tell Kate, but her brother still gets one at nap and bedtime;-) Well, wish us continued success!

Park Pics
It was a crisp cool morning at the end of October, and we ventured with my friend, to the Laguna Niguel Regional Park. A wonderful wooded park with streams and bridges, ducks and playgrounds. She captured our morning with the wonderful photographs. Enjoy her talent, and our cuties!
Beach Photos
A few months back we spent the morning as a family at Aliso Creek beach getting our pictures taken. The sky was a little gray, but the whole experience was great. Our photographer was patient, and she even brought some props with her, and well, Kate thought the wooden seagull was real. She was petting it, talking to it, and best of all, sharing her crackers with it! She has a things for birds ever since that day. Enjoy the slide show of some of our favorties!
WILL IS WALKING!!!!!
Well, it has been a long time coming, but our little man is a walking machine. He took his first few steps on November 6th, almost exactly at the 15 month adjusted age mark...not too shabby!!!! It is amazing how quickly he has picked it up and started really exploring his new view of the world, it is his preferred mode of transportation now...just about 10 days since those first tentative steps, he is walking from one side of the room to the next, using caution and his bottom to stop!
Enjoy the videos...and see the progress in just a few short days!!!
Video was taken with Will's Physical Therapist, Bryan, and his assistant Tracey

Okay, so he is still working on control, but he is getting there!!!!

Kate babysits Will.
Kate is a VERY good BIG sister. She loves to help mommy take care of Will, however, sometimes she gets a little overzelous. This morning I put Will in his exersaucer so I could use the ladies room. Gone for no more than 30 seconds, Kate had taken it upon herself to give Will some toys. Okay, so she cleaned out a basket of stuffed toys and proceeded to put them ALL on Will's exersaucer. This is what I stepped out to find! She sure is a good babysitter, I just can't leave them alone for more than 45 seconds, otherwise I would not be able to find my precious little boy!

Speed Racer...
Kate got her first "trike" for X-Mas this year from her wonderful Auntie Kristine and Mark. She really likes to sit on it and is just starting to get the whole concept of "scooting" around. These picks crack me up because I think she really belives that she is going VERY fast, but she is barely going anywhere...it is more or less her posing for the camera...we all know she is a PRO at that! I swear, if her hair would mellow out, I would get her into modeling. She so much as hears the camera turn on she comes running yelling, "Cheese", at the top of her lungs!!!!!

Sleep?!?!?!?!?!
If only you could see me today! Wow, I am wiped. Kate and Will decided not to sleep a wink last night. Well, I take that back, they slept, but not at the same time...and did I mention that Brad is in Singapore??? So who got to stay up all night??? Fun times! I am thankful that Brad helps out as much as he does, now I just want him to come home. Well, I have to wait a week for that. I am sure by the end of it, we will officially have a family bed so I can have some sanity and sleep! He can be the bad guy and kick them out when he gets home. I was also planning on getting Will transistioned to his crib this week, but after last night, I just need to be able to sleep so I can run around with these kiddos all night! See how out of it I am...I meant day!
Here's to not falling asleep today while watching my babies!

Kate has some BIG shoes to fill!
Will loves his jumper...
Yummy food!
Will is doing great! Surpassing the expectations of doctors and therapists for now. Most recently he realized that he can help feeding himself. I do not mind so much that he can hold his own bottle, but the fact that he has to grab the spoon everytime, makes feeding him baby food a little long and extremely messy! What is a mom to do???
